Cal Ore Flute Club and Choir first meeting to be held at Chetco Community Library in the small conference room. May 10th at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Bring your flute to share and bring ideas and input as well as expectations for this club and Choir. Please share this announcement with your flute playing, interested friends.

All are welcome. We are a registered Flute Club through The National Flute Association. Our initial meetings will help the flute performers/players in our region to find each other and form practice groups. All types and styles of flute are welcomed and allowed. All levels can join the flute Club. All interested parties to be involved in a flute Choir are also invited.

This club will allow all of the flutists in our area to know who we are and where we live and how to find other flutists to play and/or perform with. We have a website that I have set up and managed www.coastalflutes.org

Feel free to give me any recomendations regarding anything you like or dissagree with. I have started this club by myself, but we will function as a club with group choice eventually.

Announcement of a New Flute Club

  • Mood:
  • Music:

A New Flute Club is forming in the Southern Oregon Coastal town of Brookings Oregon. We are located 6 miles north of the Northern California Border and are also planning to include any flutists in Both The county of Del Norte California and Curry County Oregon.

This remote region is dominated by Pacific Ocean breezes, Storms and Forests Rivers and Streams. It becomes a challenge to musicians with talent to perform and practice due to the distances and lack of music stores or repair personnel. We manage however to find ways to meet and practice. Most performances are in Churches or School Theatres.

Any interested Flutists are invited to this newly forming Club.
